Bengali Actor Marzuk Russell

Marzuk Russell was born on 15th August 1973 in the village where his mother was born, in Gopalganj District, Bangladesh. The family then moved to Daulatpur, Khulna, where Marzuk Russell was brought up. His father used to work at a jute mill in Gopalganj. Marzuk Russell went to the Govt. Krishnamohan Primary School after attending the elementary school. Later, he was given admission to a madrasa school as his father decided. However, in Madrasa, he suffered from class discrimination; therefore, in 1993, he moved to Dhaka.

Marzuk Russell is a Bangladeshi poet, model and actor who made his television debut with the release of the TV play Ayna Mohol, directed by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki Mostofa Sarwar Farooki is a contemporary Banglades >> Read More... . He got the lead role in the film Bachelor 2004. After that, he acted in many television dramas and worked for various commercials. Marzuk Russell has contributed to the shooting and playing roles in several music videos, including Ghuri Tumi Kar Akashe Oro (2012), Smrity Katha (2017), etc.

Since class eight, Marzuk started writing poems, and his first poem was published in "Janabarta," a local magazine from Khulna. He then started freelancing writing gigs in the poem category. He would write for different newspapers and magazines. The first poetry that he published was named Shanting Chara Songjog Nishidhwa. He then wrote three poems, including Chander Budir Boyosh Jokhon Sholo (2003), Bainji Bari Road, and Chotto Kothay Tennis Ball. One of his beautiful creations in the poem categories is "Alternative."

The first feature film of Marzuk Russell was Bachelor (2004). He then worked on another film, Made In Bangladesh (2007), in which he played the role of Sadekur Rahman. In 2019, he returned with the two releases, Shapludu and Ratrir Jatri. In 2001 (before getting the featured film), he debuted with the film Boro Vai. He has been working in different television roles since 2000.
