. Ramesh Sen passed away on 6th October 2020. He was also known as “Punukaku” (Punu Uncle). He passed away in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Ramesh Sen, Aka Puno Sen, was an assistant to the filmmaker Satyajit Ray. Ramesh Sen spent his old/aged days at Satyajit Ray’s home in Kolkata. He also used to attend events after leaving the films and began spending his days at workshops like Film Preservation & Restoration Workshop India 2018.
