Indranil Das is an Indian Bengali Cinematographer, Artist, and Photographer. He was born in Kolkata, West Bengal. Indranil Das went to GNFC School for his higher secondary education. He completed his senior secondary education at the Aditya Academy Senior Secondary School at Kolkata. He holds a Diploma in Animation & Interactive Technology from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. He learned video graphics and special effects. He did a one-year diploma course in film making, cinematography, and film or video from the Birla Institute of Technology. He took a one-year Diploma in advance photography course from the National Association of Photography. He learned the different genres of photography and gained work experience in various fields of photography. After that, he went to the Institute of Leadership Entrepreneurship and Development (ILEAD), Kolkata, to complete his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Media Science (Honors). He is multilingual. He can speak English, Hindi, and Bengali languages.

Indranil Das is a founder at Madographer Productions as a cinematographer & photographer. He is proficient in pre-production, production, and post-production stages. Indranil Das has skilled in the studio and on-location photoshoots for fashion catalogues and editorials. He also has experience working with models, makeup artists, stylists, retouchers, hairstylists, post-production, and creative directors to produce quality pictures that demonstrate a company’s vision. He has contributed actively at large included short film, non-fiction film (corporate & documentaries), television shows (history shows, food shows, travel shows), and videos (event or podcasting).

He did his first intern with Kindle Magazine (Jun 2014 – Oct 2014) as a graphic designer and illustrator. During his internship, he did two episodes for Kindle television (music squared project) as a cameraman. He worked as director of photography (DOP) in ISB Entertainment Private Limited production for the feature film Banjaara. He worked as a freelancer (graphic designer & photographer) at 21 Gun Sallute Rally. He engaged as a leading director of photography (DOP) for two music videos for the album Icche Gulo. In 2016, he worked as an editor in the Bengali film Vaastu. He worked as a cinematographer in the Bengali film Gallus Gallus in 2018.
