He has a bachelor’s degree in Bengali Language and Literature from Calcutta University in 1975 in Kolkata. He is skilled in Film Direction, Television Directing, Channel Strategy, Network Television, Television Studio Production, and more. He has been working as a producer and director in Film and TV Connection since 1980, in Kolkata Area, India. He is also known as the first regional Mega Serial Daily Soap Maker in India. He has directed a Bengali movie Neellohit in the year 2014.
