Arati Das, popularly known as Miss Shefali, was an actress and dancer who had mainly worked in the Bengali industry; popularly known as The Queen of Cabaret. She first started cabaret at 11 years of age.

Arati Das made her first debut in 1968 with the film Chowringee, starring Supriya Devi and Uttam Kumar; her notable works include- Hum Kiss Kum Naheen (1977), Blackmail (1973), and Ustad 420 (1969). Some of her well-known plays include- Saheb Bibi Golam, Samrat O Sundari, Ashlil, and many more; she was also a writer; her autobiography includes -Sandhya Rater Shefali. Her dancing skills gained appreciation in the films- Seemabaddha (1971) and Pratidwandi (1970)

Miss Shefali passed away on 6th February 2020, due to a kidney disorder.
