Minar Rahman is a singer, composer, songwriter, writer and cartoonist. He was born on 26 th December 1992 in Chattogram, Bangladesh. Minar has been interested in songwriting and composing since his childhood. He became popular with his first song release named, Shada Ronger Shopnoglu. Minar released his first own solo album named Danpitey in the year 2008. Minar’s interest in music started when he was just a child, during that time, he came up with his first poem. Minar was greatly inspired by his father and during eighth grade, he began learning instruments. Moreover, as years passed by, his interest in music never ceased, and during his tenth grade he started writing lyrics and composing songs.

Minar completed his SSC education at Chittagong Government High School and later pursued an undergraduate degree at American International University, situated in Bangladesh. Soon after releasing his first solo album, Minar released his second studio album called Aari, which was released in the year 2011. After the success of his albums, Minar soon started releasing more solo albums.

In 2015, he released his third album, Ahare. His song Jhoom currently has more than 60 million views on YouTube. He has also worked for some movies and cinemas. Moreover, Minar has also acted in a Bengali film called Eka Din, which hit the theatres in the year 2018. Furthermore, he released a song named Minar Banaya which was a remake of the song Aashiq Banaya in the year 2020.
