She was born into the Ninth Generation of the Kalka Bindadin Gharana. She started learning kathak dance at a minimal young age of five and gave her first performance at eight. She did her foundation from Vidushi Mamta Maharaj. Currently, she is under the guidance of Pandit Jai Kishan Maharaj. She learnt the dance in Guru Shishya Parampara Style. She is a brilliant student and completed her Graduation in History Honours from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University. Despite the challenges and demands of her academic studies, she remained devoted to her passion for dance.

She wants to sustain the legacy of his grandfather. She has performed in many famous festivals, such as the Khajuraho dance festival, Sankat Mochan Samaroh, Taj Mahotsava, Chakradhar Samaroh, Kalidas Festival, Kathak Mahotsava, etc. She has performed different shows in various cities of India and abroad, such as New York, San Francisco, Houston, Minneapolis, Bangkok, Tehran, and Chabahar. In such a short career, she has gained love, applause, and popularity from the people of India and other countries. She has worked hard to sustain her grandfather's legacy, which is one of her dreams. She has recently joined a pure classical-based percussion band – the LayaCurry. She recently learned about the band that includes talented artists, such as Anubrata Chatterjee, S. She has also explored herself in movies. She debuted with the Bhojpuri film "Pandit Ji Batai Na Biyah Kab Hoi 2" opposite Bhojpuri star Ravi Kishan. She is known for her movies Har Har Byomkesh(2015), a Bengali movie, and ITC Discovering Music (2018). She has also performed a dance sequence in the film Jaanisaar. She has also done a commercial advertisement for La'ffaire Sarees, a luxury brand in handloom. She has received many awards. Some recent awards are the Tarana Foundation's Yuva Pratibha Award, the Nritya Shiromani Award at the International Cuttack dance festival, the Vrindavani Award, Parampara Samman from Sangeet Kala Niketan, Jaipur. She has also done more than a hundred concerts all over India and worldwide.
