Nicolas Karakatsanis

Nicolas Karakatsanis is a cinematographer for American feature films. He has done cinematography only for few movies in Hollywood but had established his skill in-depth in camera work marvelously. In this movie, the cinematographer Nicolas Karakatsanis captures the neighborhood of a bar situated in Brooklyn. He had captured Brooklyn in its entire camera frame. As the movie moves forward, one can see how the central character was afforded space to grow behind the camera work.

The cinematographer Nicolas has raised the film to a higher level. In the year 2016, he was the director of photography for an American crime thriller movie 'Triple 9’. The movie was shot in some exotic locales such as Atlanta, Georgia. The principal photography of the movie began on May 28, 2014. But the filming took place at St. Regis in Buckhead, Atlanta.

The second round of filming began at Centennial Olympic Park Drive at Atlanta for two days in June 2014. Later in the month of July, the shooting schedule changed to different locations such as Decatur and the filming schedule was for three days on Kings Highway. Some scenes were even shot on White Street, south of Atlanta.

Due to heavy rain in some locales, the filming was rescheduled on a different day for two exclusive days on August 4 and 5, 2014. The whole shooting was wrapped after all the filming was done in different locations. Nicolas takes a long understanding of camera from shades and images. He is one of best director of photography now in Hollywood.
