Fisher Stevens was born in Chicago, U.S. on 27 November 1963. He is an award-winning director and has also acted in and produced many movies. His mother is a painter and an activist for AIDS Campaign and his father is a furniture seller. He has been active in the industry since 1981. Fisher has acted in many movies but his portrayal of Chuck Fishman is the best in the picture “Early Edition” where he delivered a superb performance and critics appreciated him for his work. The story was about a man who receives newspapers the day before it is published and he uses this information to prevent terrible incidents before they even take place. The series had four seasons and received good response from the people. The TRP rating of the show was superb and was developed by Bob Brush. Fisher was also a part of “Super Mario" Bros where he played as Iggy. Stevens appeared in the “Short Circuit” series and played his part excellently and even received a nomination for his role.

Fisher has been a part of more than 50 productions throughout his career. The Ghetto Klown, which ran for five months in 2011 and it marked Fisher’s major success at the theatre. Fisher directed “Call of the Wylie”, “Crazy Love”, “Just a Kiss”, “Stand up Guys”, etc. He wrote “Sam the Man”, “The Highest Tide”, “The Green Team”, etc. Fisher received many awards which include Academy Award for Best Documentary Movie, Independent Spirit Award for Best Documentary Award, etc.
