Daryl Mitchell is an American Television actor mostly known for playing a tech guy in “NCIS: New Orleans”. Born on 16th July 1965, Daryl’s childhood was spent in Bronx and Wyandanch. Having parents who earned working as a secretary and a bus driver, Daryl grew up listening to hip-hop music and tried his luck at it too. He appeared in few movies with a prominent role.

Daryl is a 90's actor who was seen in movies like “House Party” and its sequel movies. “Playing Chill” is the sequel to House Party (1991). Daryl got fame in the industry and was credited with the name “Daryl Chill Mitchell” after this movie. Daryl is also known for his movie "Sgt. Bilko", released in 1996, where he plays Pfc. Walter T Holbrook. One of the famous shows of the time, Daryl was known as Old Head Guy in the Club. He made quick appearances in other shows like Law and Order as Reginald Beggs, in "Here and Now" and "Alex Haley’s Queen". But it was his performance in "The John Larroquette Show", in which he appeared for three years in around 84 episodes that he became noticeable. In 1996, Daryl was nominated for Best Supporting Actor Comedy Series Image Award for his role in the comedy.

He continued making guest appearances on shows like In the House, Cosby and Toothless during the 90s. In 1997, he was cast as a regular member in the show Veronica’s Closet and the show ran for over three years. His great performance was in the show, Ed. This show was one of the most talked about shows, and he played Eli Goggins in the show, and it was on for two years. He was also known to making star appearances in some of the famous comedies like “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” and “Wizards of Waverly Place” and drama like “Desperate Housewives”. In 2011, he appeared as Maurice in “The Cleveland Show”. In 2009, he was also seen in Brothers for over a season.

Daryl’s role in NCIS: New Orleans has been the latest of his on the small screen and he has done a wonderful job being an Investigative Computer Specialist. Playing Patton Plame, Daryl was seen in a wheelchair in the 2016 NCIS show. What happened and what many people assumed happened was different. Daryl in 2001 was the victim of an accident that happened because of him and which cost him lower body paralysis. He admits to riding a Kawasaki Ninja Motorcycle; Daryl met with an unfortunate accident where he lost control and rode off on the road in Warsaw Island.

Daryl, after learning about his lower body paralysis, was sad to be at a low point in life. It is also said that he received a lot of support from his fellow actors in the industry, and he still feels grateful to them.
