Nick Cannon is an American actor, and also a comedian, rapper, record producer, radio and TV personality as well as an entrepreneur. Nicholas Scott Cannon, his birth name, was born on 8th October 1980 in San Diego, California, US. His hometown is Charlotte, North Carolina. His mother, Beth, is accountant and father, James Cannon, is a motivational television preacher. He graduated from the Monte Vista High School in the year 1998 from Spring Valley, California. Nick initiated the rap group along with Steve Groves, his friend; the group’s name was ‘Da G4 Dope Bomb Squad’. He performed for the soundtrack Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, which had a cover of the hit song of 1988 ‘Parents Just, Don’t Understand’; he appeared with Romeo Miller and 3LW in this soundtrack. Then he started the work on his new studio album, ‘White People Party Music’ in what he collaborated with Pitbull, Polow da Don, Afrojack, and Future. The music video of its second single ‘Looking for a Dream’ released on VEVO in February. Nick has hosted shows like Wild ‘N Out which he also created and produced, Kids Choice Awards 2005, America’s Got Talent (from season 4), Friday Night Slimetime (only season 1), Caught on Camera with Nick Cannon (2014) and a few more. Since 2009, Nick is the chairman of TeenNick for Nickelodeon network and also the creative and development consultant.

He created Incredible Crew, a sketch comedy series which was produced by the Cartoon Network Studios associated by N’Credible Entertainment. He improvised the show ‘Wild ‘n Out’ on MTV2, which received top ratings for any MTV2 show; the show’s 6th and 7th season have been approved by the channel to be telecast in late 2015 or early 2016. In 2010 January, Nick started to host the morning radio show at 92.3 NOW FM along with Southern Sarah Lee and Nikki. His weekly program ‘Cannon’s Countdown’ is hosted by CBS Radio. He resigned from 92.3 NOW FM on 17 February 2012 due to health issues.
