He showed exceptional intelligence even as a child and skipped many junior grades in school to study at the Center for Talented Youth. The prodigy, aged 15, became the youngest ever graduate of Bard College, where he studied philosophy. He got through the Bar Examination after he finished his training at Yale Law School. He assisted the United Nations as a UNICEF Spokesperson for Youth between 2001 and 2009 while he was still in college. Farrow went down to Sudan’s Darfur amidst the civil turmoil and refugee crisis and joined the Genocide Intervention Network. He interned at the US Foreign Affairs committee and studied International Human Rights legislatures. During the Obama Administration, he acted as the advisor for humanitarian and NGO affairs dealing with Pakistan and Afghanistan. Later, he went on to become State Secretary Hillary Clinton’s Special Advisor. During his period in the government, he designed several new policies.

Farrow received a Rhodes Scholarship to study philosophy at Oxford. Many of his articles were published in The Guardian, The Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal, and the Los Angeles Times. He published the strongly titled book ‘Pandora's Box: How American Military Aid Creates America's Enemies.’ He is also the author of “War on Peace: The End of Diplomacy and the Decline of American Influence” and “Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies, and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators.” In 2015, he spent a year hosting the Ron Farrow show on the news network MSNBC. He progressed to working on investigative news on NBC’s Today. This segment set him off on a mission to deliver justice where it had been long due. Apart from his work in news media, he has also done voice-overs for the acclaimed Japanese movies ‘From Up on Poppy Hill’ and ‘The Wind Rises.’ He also guest-starred in the show, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. He has been a part of the Forbes ‘30 Under 30’ and New York Magazine’s ‘New Activist of the Year.’ He received the McCall-Pierpaoli Humanitarian Award for ‘extraordinary service to refugees and displaced people.’ Farrow was also the recipient of the Cronkite Award, Stonewall Community Foundation’s Vision award for his transgender activism, and the Point Courage Award. His numerous achievements have distinguished him and carved new directions for global welfare.
