Starring in everything from Peaky Blinders to The Dark Knight Rises, Edward Thomas Hardy, also known as Tom Hardy, is a thriller and action movie specialist. Tom was born on September 15th 1977 in Hammersmith, London. Both of his parents were heavily involved in the arts and relied on it for their living. Naturally, Thomas also became interested and studied at Richmond Drama School and ultimately received his degree from the school. Hardy’s acting debut came when he starred in the 2001 war film Black Hawk Down as Sgt. Lance Twombly. After acting in some more obscure movies such as dot the I, Tom acquired some heavy international fame after starring in Star Trek Nemesis as the main villain, Shinzon. He is perhaps best known for his role as the supervillain Bane in the third and final film of the Batman trilogy. In 2015 Hardy played the lead role of Max Rockatansky in the remake Mad Max: Fury Road. In late 2015, Tom Hardy will be playing twin brothers, Ronald and Reggie Kray in the highly anticipated film, Legend. Hardy has also acted in a few theatre roles winning a prestigious award in the process, the London Evening Standard Theatre Award for Outstanding newcomer. As to Thomas’s personal life away from acting, in 2008, he and Charlotte Riley started dating which culminated into marriage in July, 2014. Edward Hardy has one son named Louis Thoma. Edward has repeatedly stated that his hero is an actor by the name of Gary Oldman.
