Claire Foy is an English actress born on 16th April, 1984 in Stockpot. She spent her childhood in Manchester and Leeds. When she was eight years old, her parents got divorced. Her mother was from Ireland. She is the youngest of her three siblings. Her mother work in a pharmaceutical company and her father is a sales director. After the divorce, she moved to Buckinghamshire with her mother.

She is a trained ballet dancer. She did her schooling from Aylesbury High School. Then she went to Liverpool John Moores University to study drama and screen studies. Her financial conditions were not well that forced her to take a lot of menial jobs to pay the University. She is very close to her family; she considers her father as the best. She still wears the ring gifted to her at one Christmas Eve.

She describes her mother as the most wonderful women. She also attended Oxford School of Drama for a one year course. After her graduation in the year 2007, she moved to Peckham. In the year 2014, she got married to actor Stephan Campbell Moore. Both of them starred in Season of the Witch and Pulse.

During her years at Oxford School of Drama; she acted in plays named Touched, Easy Virtue, Watership Down, and Top Girls. After her debut on television, she made her professional entry on the stage from the plays DNA and The Miracle in London. She was the lead actor in the mini-series Little Dorrit. In the movie, she portrayed the protagonist Amy Dorrit. She got the nomination for the RTS award for her role play in the film.

She continued to appear in television movies Going Postal and Season of the Witch there; she starred with Nicolas Cage “You know I can eat peaches for hours…” This is on >> Read More... . She portrayed Lady Persephone in the BBC revival of Upstairs Downstairs. She also starred in the mini-series The Promise, broadcasted in February 2011. Once in an interview, she revealed that working in this series is her favourite job ever.

She was the lead in the film The Night Witch; she played the role of Helen in the movie. She returned to the theatres in 2013 as Lady Macbeth with James McAvoy James Mcavoy was born on 21 April 1979, in Glasgow >> Read More... in Macbeth at the Trafalgar Studios. After taking a six months break due to her new-born baby, she began filming The Crown (2016).
