Emily Hampshire is a Canadian television and film actress known for her works in movies such as “Boy Meets World” in 1998 and the Snow Cake in 2006. Hampshire is also the recipient of a Gemini Award, a Maple Leaf Award and is a three-time Genie Award Nominee. Hampshire tied the knot with the former soccer player, Matthew Smith, in 2006. Hampshire was born in the Canadian city of Montreal. In the millennium year, Hampshire was cast in “Psi Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal,” Twice in a Lifetime, “La Femme Nikita,” The Ride, Scorn, and provided the voice-over for “Anne of the Green Gables: The Animated Series.”

In 2001, Hampshire featured in the Billy Ray Cyrus starrer “Doc,” The Associates, “Braceface,” and “MythQuest.” 2002 saw Hampshire in Avi Arad’s “Mutant X,” A Nero Wolf Mystery and “The Eleventh Hour.” In 2004, Hampshire featured in “This is Wonderland,” Puppets Who Kill, Earth Sea, and provided voice-overs for animated series such as “6Teen,” “Carl Squared,” “Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Friends,” and “Atomic Betty.” Later on, Hampshire also featured in This Space for Rent, Republic of Doyle, Rookie Blue, and Man Seeking Woman.
