Irene Wang is a Peru-born Chinese actor. She was a model first and then stressed on acting later. Her first work was in a Chinese soap opera named Faa yeung chung nin, 2003. She has worked on a couple of Chinese Movies with The Monkey King (2014) being her recent. Her other films include Flash Point (2007) where she played the character of Cindy; and All’s Well, Ends Well (2011) where she plays Jodi.
Out of the movies she had lent her role, Flash Point has won the Best Action Choreography at the 2007 Golden Horse Film Festival and Hong Kong Film Awards, and the Best Action in a Foreign Language Film at the 2008 World Stunt Awards. While The Monkey King (2014) has bagged the Best original Score for an Action / Adventure / Thriller Film at the 2014 International Film Music Critics Award and were nominated for the 2015 Hong Kong Film Awards.
She is also known by the names of – Wang Yuan, Wang Yuan Yuan, to name a few. Irene besides her acting career has contributed to the script of Chinese Action/Fantasy – Painted Skin 2: The Resurrection (2012).
