Keri Russell is a popular dancer and actress. She was born as Keri Lynn Russell on March 23, 1976 at Fountain Valley in California to Stephanie and David Russell. They normally moved in different places like Texas, Arizona and Colorado due to her father’s job as an Executive in Nissan Motors. Because of her skills in dancing, Keri got her part in the variety show, Mickey Mouse Club, where she was debuted as a television actress. She played her part in the show from Seasons 4 to 6 together with , , , and more.

In year 1992, she played as Mandy Park in the science-fiction film, Honey, I Blew Up the Kid. In 1993, she donned a role in the sitcom, Boy Meets World and in year 1995, she made an appearance in an episode of ‘Married…with Children’. Later, she was featured in various film and television shows. She was starred in the 1996 TV film, The Babysitter’s Seduction. In the same year, she played the main lead role as Chloe Walker in the short-lived teen drama show, Malibu Shores.

Keri also appeared in the music video of Always by in 1994. She also played as Claire in Episodes 1 and 4 of the fantasy adventure series, Roar on Fox. She was starred as Felicity Porter in the prime time drama series, Felicity from year 1998 to 2002. Keri got the Best Actress – Television Series Drama at the Golden Globe Awards in 1999 for her appearance in the series. While doing the show, she also made an appearance in the 1997 comedy film, Eight Days a Week and the 1998 thriller film, The Curve. She was also starred in the film, Mad About Mambo in year 2000. In 2002, she essayed the role of Barbara Geoghegan in the war film, We Were Soldiers which stars Mel Gibson.

When the series, Felicity ended, she shifted to New York City and made her debut in off-Broadway in year 2004 through Neil LaBute’s play, Fat Pig. Later, she made her comeback in television and film. She was starred in The Magic of Ordinary Days which is based on Ann Howard Creel’s novel. She also did the romantic comedy film, The Upside of Anger in 2005 together with , and . In the same year, she made an appearance in the miniseries, Into the West.

In year 2006, Keri was selected by CoverGirl Cosmetics to be their celebrity spokeswoman. In 2007, she appeared in the reality show, The Keri Kronicles which was sponsored by the CoverGirl and broadcasted on MySpace. The show was shot in Manhattan where Keri lives and highlights her life journey. In the same year, she also did the role of Melody in the medical comedy drama series, Scrubs.

Her next featured film was the comedy film, Waitress from which she acted as Jenna. Her performance together with her co-stars and director received positive response from the critics. In 2006, Keri played as Katie Armstrong, a criminal psychology student who’s making a thesis about a cannibal killer, in the psychological horror film, Butterfly: A Grimm Love Story. She plays as Celeste in the 2007 drama film, The Girl in the Park along with and and as Lyla Novacek in the drama film, August Rush.

Later, she appeared in the comedy film, as Jill Hastings. The film starred and according to Keri, she was roped in to do the role in the film since Adam’s wife saw her in Waitress, so she suggested to cast her in the movie. She also voiced in 2009. In the medical drama film, Extraordinary Measures, she was featured together with and . She played the role of Aileen Crowley, the mother of sick children who wanted to create a normal life together with her husband John (played by Brandon Fraser) and the eccentric scientist (played by Harrison ford) who tries to find a cure for the children but racing against time. From 2010 to 2011, she played as Emmy Kadubic in the comedy series, Running Wilde. And in 2013, she was featured in the television series, The Americans as Elizabeth Jennings. In 2014, she did the film, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, a follow-up film to the 2011’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Keri got married to Shane Deary in February 14, 2007 but they got separated in 2013. They have two children namely, River Russell Deary and Willa Lou Deary.
