Kristin Landen Davis, born on 23rd February 1965 in Boulder, Colorado, is an American actress and the adopted bundle of joy of Keith Davis (stepfather), a professor and Dorothy Davis (biological mother), a data analyst. She wanted to be an actress at the age of 9 when she starred in a community theatre performance called “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” She graduated from AC Flora High School in the year 1983. She later attended Rutgers University in New Jersey, from where she acquired her BFA degree in Acting in the year 1987. She has never married and has adopted a daughter and named her Gemma Rose Davis on October 7th, 2011. She has been an ambassador for Oxfam since 2004. Her well-known roles include that of Brooke Armstrong in Melrose Palace, and her famous role in HBO’s hit television drama Sex and the City as Charlotte York, for which she got nominated for an Emmy Award.

Her remarkable appearances in films include The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 2005, Nine Months in 1995, Deck the Halls as Kelly Finch in 2006 and Couples Retreat in 2009. Davis is a Maybelline spokesperson who made guest appearances on popular television shows like Friends in 1994 and Seinfeld in 1989. She got nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Television Movie “Of Two Minds” in 2012 at the Women’s Image Network Awards. Her enjoyable performances on television are in the daytime soap opera General Hospital in 1991, Will and Grace and in Sex and the City as mentioned before where she won the Women in Film Lucy Award along with rest of her cast. She hosted the show “200 Greatest Pop Culture Icons” on VH1. Her appearances in the animated series Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Kids and its series “Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Friends” as Miss Spider was a role that most of us still cherish and remember. She was in a commercial for “Head and Shoulders” and in the hit Christmas movie Three Days in 2001. Her on-stage performance is for West Ends “Fatal Attraction” where she played Beth Gallagher, in March 2014.
