Liza Weil

Liza Weil, whose full name is, Liza Rebecca Weil is an American brunette actress. Her mother, Lisa Weil born her on June 5th, 1977 in Passaic, New Jersey, United States of America. Liza's family practiced Reform Judaism, and she continues to follow it too. Her father, Marc Weil and Lisa worked for an acting troupe named The Madhouse Company of London, which would travel all over Europe. As a result, they would also take Liza with them for traveling.

Though most of her family members are artists, it was during such trips with her parents that Liza became interested in acting. Liza is left-handed. After watching the Indiana Jones trilogy films, she developed an enormous crush for Harrison Ford and wanted to become an archaeologist. When Liza became seven, her parents permanently shifted to Lansdale, Pennsylvania. While in school, she focused more on her acting career due to which her academics took a backseat. She would often go to New York City where she would give several auditions in the hope of bagging a professional role.

She managed to get a part in a production of Broadway and a theatre community of Philadelphia. She even graduated a term earlier from North Penn High School to devote all her time to acting. Liza is also an alumna of the Columbia University. She continued to perform regularly at Ojai Playwrights Conference, L.A. Theatre Works, and other state’s theatre.

Liza also worked alongside with her family. In 1994, people first saw a glimpse of her in an episode of The Adventures of Pete & Pete. After her first show, she has appeared in many TV shows and films like The Missing Person, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, How to Get Away with Murder, Stir of Echoes and much more.

In spite of bagging lead roles, she has never flinched from doing first appearances. Liza has also been a part of several independent movies. In 2006, she got hitched to Paul Adelstein in a traditional ceremony. After their marriage, they together worked on three projects. Liza gave birth to his baby girl on April 20, 2010.

The couple named her Josephine Adelstein. However, their marriage couldn't stand the test of time and they divorced each other after ten years of being together. Most of the makeup artists that Liza has worked with have claimed that she has flawless skin which almost no one in the industry can rival. Samantha Weil, her younger sister, is an actress too.
