He graduated from North Attleboro high school in 1989 and made his first short- film “ An occurrence on Harmony Lane” depicting the story of a kid stuck on a tree. Soon after six years Aaron Ryder moved from North Attleboro to L.A and started his career in Hollywood. In the beginning, he worked as an intern in Working Title films. His career began with the film “Get it on” in which he played the role of the director, producer, and writer in the year 1998. His magnum opus success “Memento” came after two years which changed his whole life. Memento was his first film as an Executive producer.

Citing his struggles Ryder faced many rejections with the film script being called ‘Dumb and backward; but finally, he managed to convince a foreign sales company and produced one of the greatest Sci-Fi films. Memento won more than 25 awards in the coming years and created a milestone for others. He joined Film nation Entertainment, an independent production house as President in 2009 and since then never looked back.

Aaron Ryder worked as an executive producer for the films like Donnie Darko, Stark raving mad, Wrong Turn, The Moguls, Red Dog and The sense of an ending. He flourished as a producer for the Blockbuster films like The Prestige, Hamlet 2, My One and Only, Transcendence and Arrival in 2016.

Arrival, A Sci-Fi classic holds a special place in Aaron Ryder’s heart as it was a script which was initially written for a short film but gradually developed into a feature film. Asking about his struggles, he stated in an interview that “There were things about the short story that you just need to change to fit it into a two-hour story like this, but it's an obligation I think everybody has to take on when you're adapting from one medium to another.” The movie has the nominations for 8 Academy, 9 BAFTA, 2 Golden Globes and a Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Aaron also sees it as “The smooth marriage between the science and the arts.” Aaron Ryder is a gem who has seen all phases in his life.
