English Producer Douglas Falconer

Born on January 30, 1952 in Calgary, Alberta, Douglas Falconer is a former Canadian professional football player and Canadian-American filmmaker. He played in the (CFL) Canadian Football League.His dad was an individual from the Canadian Armed Forces.

Growing up, Falconer was always moving. While going to no less than five Government funded schools all over Canada, he split his secondary school time between Base Borden Collegiate Institute outside of Toronto and after that La Salle Secondary School in Kingston of Ontario.

While going to secondary school, Falconer was an Athlete. He took part in soccer, football, track and field athletics, and basketball. He scored 42 points in a 33-point fight against eminent loss-win in the Eastern Ontario Secondary School Basketball Championship in his senior year at La Salle.

Falconer became the city's scoring champion in both football and basketball. He was also, the high jump and long jump champ of the town that same year. Falconer went ahead to play basketball at St. Lawrence College on the guard position following high school.

He was a fellow during 1971– 1972 in Eastern Division Championship group at St. Lawrence College. Falconer played as a defensive back and as a wide receiver on the football group when transferred to the University of Ottawa in 1973.

As a receiver against McGill University, he once scored two touchdowns and against the University of Windsor blocked two goes as a guard in the Churchill Bowl of 1975. Falconer was a teammate from the legendary National Championship Vanier Cup Team in 1975.

He respected "Achievement Award" in acknowledgment to Falconer by William Davis, the Premier of Ontarioin the Field of Amateur Sports for Distinguished Performance in 1976.He shifted to Los Angeles and helped to create the inline hockey game in California in 1981.

Falconer became the NHL Breakout World Championship group captain, contending with teams from around the globe including USA, Canada, and Sweden at 47 years old in 1998. The Championship Trophy was granted to Falconer and his colleagues by Willie O'Ree.

Douglas built up the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees football groups' scholarship of first forever entrance in 2008. The grant named after the three mentors who were a motivation to Douglas throughout University and High School.

The coaches of Douglas were Don Gilbert, Bob Morrison, and Doug Fraser. The Gilbert-Fraser-Morrison Scholarship is honored every year to a La Salle Secondary School and potentially a Kingston zone secondary school competitor intending to go to and play football at the University of Ottawa. Douglas was drafted into the Hall of Fame in the Ottawa Sports City and Ottawa Football University as an individual of Ottawa Gee-Gees football group from the undefeated 1975 National Champion University in 2015.

Douglas presently fills in as Chairman of Falconer Pictures in Los Angeles, a feature movie creation organization. In 2009, he produced My Bollywood Bride starring, Jason Lewis.
