Park Chan-wook is a movie director from South Korea. He is handsome and a great personality. He is famous for his movies Old Boy, Thirst, Joint Security Area. He was born in Seoul, South Korea. He got his education from Sogang University in Philosophy. In 1992, his first debut movie The Moon Is the Sun's Dream hit the screens and after five years his next movie Trio came in the Industry. These films were not successful. But in 2000 his two films were successful. These pictures are Anarchists and Joint Security Area. Anarchist was a drama picture; film wanted to show five idealistic men on missions. Film was fantastic of his time. Joint security area was a mystery movie, in this film Two North Korean soldiers are killed in the border area between North and South Korea, prompting an investigation by a neutral body. The budget of the movie was 3 million USD. In 2001, he wrote his next movie The Humanist, which was a good picture. Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and A Bizarre Love Triangle were successful films of that time. In 2005, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance and Boy Goes to Heaven were the top level picture. He is mostly famous for crime/drama movie Sympathy for Lady Vengeance. Movie box office collections were 23.8 million USD.
