Michael Jackson acquired full custody of his daughter following his separation from Rowe in 1999, his relationship stated as being an ‘economical’ one, where Rowe was just in for the money while Jackson wanted a child. Paris grew up with her siblings at Neverland Ranch in California. She and her brothers would often be seen wearing masks in public to hide their identities.

After Michael Jackson’s untimely death in 2005, her custody fell into the hands of her grandmother.
