Douglas McGrath

City in New York, US. Presently, he is 58 years old. His parents were R. Searle McGrath and Beatrice.  He is an oil producer in Midland, Texas. He is a student at The Choate School, Princeton University, and Trinity School in Midland. In the Princeton University, he was a part of the Triangle Club.  After completion of his graduation, he became the member of Board of Directors.

He wrote a book based on the music, career, and life of Carole King. The name of the book was Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. It started in 2014 on Broadway. It premiered on 8th October in 2013 at Curran Theatre in San Francisco. 

McGrath worked as an actor from 1994 to 2002. In 1994, he acted as Snodgrass in Quiz Show. Then, he appeared as Chap in The Day Trippers.  In 1999, he came as a private investigator in The Insider. In 2000, he was seen in the characters of Alan Quimp and Frenchy’s Lawyer in Company Man and Small Time Crooks respectively. In 2002, he starred in Hollywood Ending.

Coming to McGrath’s personal life, he got married to Jane Read Martin on 3rd June in 1995. She is an actor and famous for her acts in Hannah and Her Sisters of 1986, Radio Days of 1987, and The Purple Rose of Cairo of 1985.  Both of them had one son. His name is Henry.
