Tejas Padiaa, a Writer and Director since January 2013, was born on 21 December. He resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Tejas Padiaa studied for a Bachelor of Commerce from J. P. Parekh High School. Tejas Padiaa wrote and directed India's first Mobile short film, Ek Shukrawar, in 2009 and Bollywood's first Zero Budget film, Lo Ho Gai Party, in 2011. He also wrote and directed a Gujarati film, Aa Te Kevi Dunniya (2015), produced under the banner of Bhagat Entertainment by Vijay Khatri.
He got the core idea for this film while waiting for a rickshaw outside Kandivali station. He stood there for about 45 minutes and observed people around him lead such boring lives for money and wondered, what if there was no money and the currency was good deeds? He wrote down that idea and remembered it again after a year standing at Kandivali station. It took him 6-8 months to finish the script. Another movie by him was Polam Pol, released in 2016.
