Ghani Muhammed is a Gujarati music composer. Originally hailing from the Tejrasar Village of Bikaner, he is the son of the musician Sirajuddin. His mother died early in his life. He has a brother, Ali Muhammed, who, like him, is also a music composer. Ghani Muhammed used to train under his father. They relocated to Kolkata at a young age and then later to Mumbai, where they were seen by many Bollywood musicians and directors. Ghani Muhammed received the Padma Shri in the year 2024.
