Award-winning composer, sound designer, arranger, and producer Darshan has worked on a lot of short films, albums, TV series, and jingles. In 2017, he gave music to two wildlife documentaries Looking for Sultan & Gyamo which won the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival held in New York Click to look into! >> Read More... and the Mountain Film Festival. He was working with the well-known virtual instrument company, 'Embertone', in making a series of virtual Indian instruments for composers all around the world. He was the sound editor for Malaysia’s high-grossing film, ‘Polis Evo’ in 2015.

He also worked for an animated TV series, ‘Harry and Bunnie’ which was produced by Animasia Studio and was aired on the Disney Channel. Darshan has also worked as a producer for a lot of singer-songwriters all around the world and has also released his own single, ‘Breathe’ which featured Poova Placchiak. His song ‘Until Again’, is produced for Lyanne Low a Malaysian Singer-Songwriter. He won two awards for the best score at the Horror Hotel Convention and International Indie Gathering Festival in 2014. He was also the composer of the theme music of the 2012 event for The Sultan Cup, which was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a performer, he has done a lot of electro-acoustic performances in and as well as around Kuala Lumpur.

Darshan began his musical journey at the age of 7 on the Tabla. Later he developed his interest in piano and started playing Piano. He was accepted and enrolled in Piano Performance at The K.M. Music Conservatory in 2010 which is under the assistance of A.R Rahman. an Oscar-winning composer. He joined in 2012 the International College of Music established in Kuala Lumpur and was given a first-class honours degree in Professional Music. Darshan Shah is one of the few musicians who are accepted in the MA in Scoring for Films and New Media at the honoured Pulse College, Ireland. He is a multi-instrumentalist and likes to experiment with unique and different sound palettes by fusion of electronics with ethnic and orchestral textures.
