Shubham Saraf

Shubham Saraf is a British actor born in 1992. He is well known for his work on stage which earned him an Evening Standard Theatre Award nomination. He finished schooling at St Paul's School in London and completed his bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Warwick in 2013. He has a master’s in acting from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and studied at France’s École Philippe Gaulier as well. He is a prominent theatre artist and has worked in Lions and Tigers as Dinesh Gupta in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, London; in Hamlet as Osric in the Globe Theatre, London; in Romeo and Juliet as Benvolio and The Father and the Assassin as Nathuram Godse in the Royal National Theatre, London; in Three Sisters as Nikolay Tuzenbach in the Almeida Theatre, London and many more.

He has also been a part of several movie casts, such as Suspension of Disbelief, Miss, Honour, The Cut, This Feels Fucking Weird, Overlord, Shakespeare's Globe: Hamlet, 6 Underground, Acrimonious, Bath Salts, The Power, The Track, Blind, and The Dandies of Albertopolis. He has played a variety of roles. He got a breakthrough with his role as an aristocrat in newly independent India in Mira Nair’s BBC series A Suitable Boy. He is also known for his role in the Netflix crime anthology, Criminal: U.K as a policeman. He has also been a part of the Apple TV+ series Shantaram and has worked in Jed Mercurio’s BBC series Bodyguard as a PR advisor. He has been a part of several other series, such as Fresh Meat as a Protester, Romeo and Juliet as Benvolio, etc. He has worked as an actor in several productions, like Leopard Films, Dan Films, Parti Productions, Objective Productions, Corazon International, and Waring & McKenna.
