R. Verman Shetty

Ratna Verman Shetty, credited as R.Verman, is the Hindi Art Director, born on October 1st, 1947, in Mangaluru, Karnataka. He was 72 years old when he died From Cardiac Arrest on July 30th, 2019. He is the Father of Abhishek Verman, an Indian Film Director best known for 2 States and Kalank. Ratna Verman Shetty completed his Education at Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai. After his Studies, R.Verman opened his own cine Advertising company and named it Takshila. His clients were Navtekan Films. Verman has worked on more than 350 films, nominated for Film Fare Awards for Best Art Direction twice for the success of the Films Hum and Angaar in the years 1992 and 1993.
