Rohit Richard

Rohit Richard is an Indian assistant director, dubbing artist, and an aspiring writer-director. He was born on October 2, 1999. Rohit Richard’s place of birth is Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He completed his primary education at Sacred Heart Boys’ High School in 2015. Then, he took Arts at Mithibai College of Arts Chauhan Institute of Science, and A. J. College of Commerce and Economics. After that, he went to the St Andrews College of Arts Science & Commerce at St Domnic Road Bandra West Mumbai, to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication or Media Studies in 2017.

Rohit Richard has always been inclined towards creative and performing arts. Throughout his college career, he has participated in various festivals and performed in group dances, drama competitions, fashion shows, and rap & beatbox events among other things. His experiences in college drove him to pursue a career in the entertainment business. Rohit Richard was a contingent leader at Polaris Fest Wilson College in Mumbai for three months (Jun 2018 – August 2018). He led the St. Andrew's BMM department at Polaris, the annual media festival organized by Wilson College. He received the contingent accolades, including the award for "Best PR."

He also received personal accolades, including the award for "Best Contingent Leader." From February 2019 to September 2019, Rohit Richard was the chairperson at Fest Mosaic. He organized “Mosaic,” the annual intercollegiate festival of St. Andrew’s College, Mumbai. Therefore, he conducted over forty-two events and led a team of over three fifty volunteers. He also worked closely with the College Administration, student bodies, and the Alumni group of St. Andrew's College.

Rohit Richard worked as an event coordinator for over two years. As a freelance event coordinator, he worked on more than fifteen events while pursuing his Bachelor's in Mass Media. As an assistant director, Rohit Richard worked at Water Communications to Salil Fernandez on a stray animal adoption docudrama, “The Tails of Boo Boo & Cuddly Poo." He handled various direction and production-related tasks, including organizing, scheduling, logistical planning, data backup, etc. He was a direction intern at Dharmatic Entertainment for six months. He worked on the Netflix & Dharmatic Ent. original series titled "The Fame Game." 

As a dubbing artist, Rohit Richard worked on a few crowd dubbing gigs for OTT films and web series. He was a 3rd assistant director at T-Series and later at B62 Studios. He worked as a part of director Bejoy Nambiar’s team on “Kaala,” a T-Series & Hotstar original web show. Then, he worked as a part of director Aditya Jambhale’s team on a feature film based in Kashmir. He was responsible for designing the background activity on the film and additionally handled the 2nd unit throughout the shooting schedule. Since March 2023, he has been working as an assistant director – post-production at B62 Studios. He is responsible for the logistical planning and coordination between all departments involved in the production of two feature films.
