Originally from Ahmadabad in Gujarat, Vishesh Agrawal currently lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is married to Tina Tibrewal and they have a three year old son, Siddhanth Agrawal. He has studied Electrical engineering at L D College of Engineering and Computer engineering at North Carolina State University. He has also worked in the IT industry in companies like IBM, eInfochips, and Sibridge Technologies. Currently, he works as a producer for multiple production houses. He has held the position of line producer, associate producer, supervising producer, production coordinator, post-production supervisor, casting associate and assistant director during his tenure in the film industry. Vishesh is best known for serving as producer for films like Dangal (2016), Talvar (2015), and
Nil Battey Sannata (2015).
He was also part of the production staff of
Kai Po Che (2013), the production coordinator for I.D (2012), part of production staff of Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana (2012). The Good Road (2013) and Chapter: Love (2011) credit him as an assistant director. He is also a blogger, though not active anymore. Vishesh is also a poet, as is evident from his blog. He has also explored how he happened to want to enter the field of entertainment using that platform. Some of his favorite movies include Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Gone Baby Gone, There will be Blood, No country for Old men, Aamir, A Wednesday, Miss Sunshine, Rock On, Welcome to Sajjanpur and Jaane tu ya Jaane na. Zero to One by Peter Thiel and Rework by Jason Fried and David Henemeier Hansson are two of his favorite books.

He also works at Independent Media Professional. Previously, he has worked as a casting associate at The Big Picture Company. Vishal Bhardwaj Pictures Private Limited and Ashish Rampal Films are other production houses he that he has been associated with.
