Anjali Mukherjee, a well-known Indian nutritionist, was born on July 22, 1963. She is known for her association with Femina Miss India (1997-2004) as an official nutritionist for the contestants. She is also the founding director of Health Total. Anjali is married to Saurabh Mukherjee, Health Total's chairman and chief executive officer, and she has two daughters named Anchal Mukherjee and Suchita Mukherjee. After graduating with a B.Sc. degree from Jai Hind College, Mumbai.
She attended the Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology. She specializes in nutrition and dietetics. She graduated in Clinical Nutrition from the American Academy of Nutrition and started practicing in 1984. She has conducted outstanding research on non-drug therapies and exercise to help people with obesity, high cholesterol, digestive disorders, hypertension, type 2 diabetes, fatigue, and other lifestyle problems. From 1996 to 2004, she published over 1,000 articles in the Bombay Times column. She is also the health editor of Elan magazine.
