Mandakini Jena

Mandakini Jena is an Indian dance choreographer. She has been training young talented people and providing online dance classes for the past 20 years. She had a childhood passion for dance. Mandakini earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from "Utkal University." She is fluent in Hindi. Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, India, is her hometown. She was one of the few young people in Odisha who pursued her passion and turned it into a career. The reality show established her as a well-known figure and provided her with an opportunity to encourage new talent. "Dance India Dance" named her the "Best Flexible Body." She appeared on several other reality shows. She was the runner-up to Mahayudh in "Boogie Woogie(2008)" and the winner of the "Chak Dhoom Dhoom(2010)" team challenge.

Later, she founded her dance school, "Mzone Dance Academy." The dance academy offers training in various types of Indian and Western dance forms to individuals ranging in age from children to adults and senior citizens. Individuals can also get training in Aerobics, Zumba, and yoga. The academy provides a foundation for future generations and encourages them to step outside their comfort zone. Mandakini teaches "Contemporary, Bharatanatyam, Salsa, Hip-hop, Bollywood, Freestyle, and Fusion" styles. She is well-versed in the Zumba dance form and teaches it to her students. Her movements are precise and in sync with the music. As a regular member of Terrence Lewis' dance troupe, she has the opportunity to showcase her immense talent. Mandakini, a self-taught dancer, had performed in places such as "Bangkok, Dubai, and New York." Her plans include creating her dance reality shows in Odisha, with contestants drawn from slums and impoverished areas.
