Saravanamaruthu Soundarapandi, also known as Mani, was an Indian cinematographer and filmmaker. Saravanamaruthu has predominantly worked for the Malayalam, Marathi, Hindi, and Bangla language film industries. Saravanamuthu Soundarapandi is a Graduate of Electrical Engineering at KSR College of engineering with two years of experience as an iOS developer at WIPRO. He graduated from Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute in Kolkata with a postgraduate diploma in cinematography. While studying at the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, he has worked on many short films and web series in different languages.
Salana Jalsa, a Marathi film in which Saravanamaruthu, worked as a cinematographer, was chosen for the Golden Goblet award category at the Shanghai International Film Festival, 2019, regarded as one of the top "A" Tier film festivals worldwide. And his Tamil language short film "Little Wings,” was chosen for the 2022 editions of the Regina International Film Festival and Awards and the International Film Festival of South Asia in Toronto.
