Akhtar Hindustani

Akhtar Hindustani was born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He started writing poetry at a very young age, and he was also successful in creating an image for himself amongst his teachers and friends, owing to his ability to twist language and use it according to his wishes and fantasies. Akhtar Hindustani creates his individuality in everything that he does, Including his method of dressing, which is usually the traditional cloth of his community, His style of speaking which is fast paced and witty, His long, uncombed hair, etc.

His satirical poems were a precursor to his realization that he could become a professional stand-up comedian. As soon as he began to gain appreciation from his friends for his comedy performances, he started performing at local places near his house such as restaurants and public gathering. When Akhtar realized that his talent required much more exposure than what his locality could provide him, he got the opportunity that he was waiting for. He auditions for a comedy-reality show and gets the chance to perform as a contestant.

In the show, Akhtar once again proves that his uniqueness and individuality could stand apart from other time-tested methods of performance. Through sarcasm, Akthar was successful in bringing to light the various atrocities and unfair practices that an ordinary individual is being subjected to, in a society.
