Personal Life: Actual name, Satya Prakash Srivastav, but known as Raju Srivastav, born on 25 December, 1963, and hails from Kanpur, India. He hails from a middle class Kayastha family. His father, Balai Kaka, was a famous poet, and Raju wanted to become a comedian since his childhood, as he used to imitate his teachers when he was in school. His mind was preoccupied with the intention to become a comedian, and thus, he appeared in many films starting by playing a small role in Maine Pyaar Kiya.
Career: Raju moved to Mumbai and started his career by playing small or comedic roles in many films like Maine Pyaar Kiya, Tezaab, Baazigar, Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon,
Big Brother, Bombay to Goa, and many more, but he did not get any recognition till later. During his struggling days, Raju use to mimic
Amitabh Bachchan. Later, he gained recognition through a comedy show where he won second place, after which he participated in the Great Indian Laughter Challenge, and won the show. He also appeared in other TV reality shows like
Bigg Boss, Comedy Circus,

Raju Shrivastav, also known as Raju Srivastava, is an Indian actor, voice actor and comedian, who was born on December 25, 1963, in Kanpur, India. He is the son of Kanpur’s poet, Ramesh Chandra Srivastava or Balai Kaka. Srivasta followed his dream to become a comedian ever since he was young. He used to impersonate his teachers. The Samajwadi Party of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav of Uttar Pradesh took Raju from Kanpur for the Lok Sabha Election, 2014. However, Raju sent back the ticket since he is not getting ample support from the residents of the party. Then he was allied to Bhartiya Janta Party.
