This name does not need any introduction, as the Indian comedian, Raju Srivastav, is known widely. Personal Life: Actual name, Satya Prakash Srivastav, but known as Raju Srivastav, born on 25 December, 1963, and hails from Kanpur, India. He hails from a middle class Kayastha family. His father, Balai Kaka, was a famous poet, and Raju wanted to become a comedian since his childhood, as he used to imitate his teachers when he was in school. Raju Shrivastav, also known as Raju Srivastava, is an Indian actor, voice actor and comedian, who was born on December 25, 1963, in Kanpur, India. He is the son of Kanpur’s poet, Ramesh Chandra Srivastava or Balai Kaka. Srivasta followed his dream to become a comedian ever since he was young. He used to impersonate his teachers. Raju settled down in Mumbai and appeared in several films doing small roles. During his grappling days, he used to impersonate Indian actor, Amitabh Bachchan. Raju Srivastav is a very talented comedian. He finished his studies in Kanpur.

Raju also performed in stage shows in India and other countries. He also promoted his audio tapes and VCDs. He participated in the stand-up comedic show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, and won as the second runner-up, and then he joined The Great Indian Laughter Challenge – Champions, where he got the title of The King of Comedy. He was also a contestant of the reality show, Bigg Boss Season 3. He also joined the show, Comedy Ka Maha Muqabla.

The Samajwadi Party of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav of Uttar Pradesh took Raju from Kanpur for the Lok Sabha Election, 2014. However, Raju sent back the ticket since he is not getting ample support from the residents of the party. Then he was allied to Bhartiya Janta Party.

Raju was married with two kids and has been part of films like Tezaab, Maine Pyaar Kiya, Baazigar, Mr. Azad, Big Brother, Bombay to Goa and more.
