The Late S.N.Tripathi Born On March 14, 1913, In Benares Was One Of The Most Versatile People Who Was Not Only An Indian Composer But Writer, Actor, And Director Of Several Films. After Completing His Formal Education, Tripathi Got His Training In Classical Music From Pandit V. N. Bhatkhande's Morris College Of Music In Lucknow. After That He Came To Bombay In 1935 And Joined Bombay Talkies Wherein He Worked As A Violinist. He Got His First Break As A Singer In 1936 In The Film Called ‘Jeevan Naiya’ For ‘Ae Ri Daiya Lachak Lachak Chalo.’ It Was Also The First Film Of The Legendary Actor Ashok Kumar Kumudlal Ganguly was known from his stage by Ashok >> Read More... . He Quit Bombay Talkies In 1938 And Got His First Break As An Independent Music Director For The Film ‘Chandan.’ But He Got His Real Commercial Success As A Music Director With The Film ‘Panghat’ Released In 1943.

One Of His Compositions ‘Zara Samne Toh Aao Chhaliye’ From The Movie ‘Janam Janam Ke Phere’ (1957) Got The Top Slot At The Binaca Geetmala Beating The Other Top Contenders Like SD Burman (Pyaasa), OP Nayyar ( Naya Daur Naya Daur is a television show that aired on Zee T >> Read More... ) And Shanker-Jaikishen ( Chori Chori Story soon >> Read More... ). With Composing Tripathi Was Also Interested In Acting And Acted In Several Films Like ‘Jeevan Naiya’(1936), ‘Uttara Abhimanyu’(1946), But His Role Of Hanuman For The Film ‘Ram Bhakt Hanuman’ Where He Also Composed The Music, Was Legendary.

Besides Acting And Composing Music This Talented Person Tried His Hand In Directing Films. His Film Called ‘Rani Roopmati’ Based On The Immortal Love Story Of Rupmati And Baz Bahadur Was A Huge Success. Other Of His Prominent Films Include ‘Kavi Kalidas’(1959), ’Pakshiraj’(1959), And ‘Sangeet Samrat Tansen’ (1962). This Prolific Composer Was Underrated As He Found Himself Relegated To Mythological, Devotional And Historical Films. He Has Also Composed, Wrote Dialogues In Many Regional Movies.
