Dulichand Agarwal

Dulichand Agrawal was a Contestant who was seen on an episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati. He lives in Durg, Madhya Pradesh. He won a total amount of Rs. 50 Lakh on the show. He was seen in the 14th season of KBC and became the first contestant to join the hot seat. He has done a Ph.D. in Economics and is teaching as a professor in a reputed college in Durg, Madhya Pradesh. Initially, he used to live in Mumbai but moved to Durg due to work. Big B engaged in a fun banter with him and started calling him DC and not Dulichand.

In the 14th season, makers introduced a prize money of Rs. 75 Lakh to help the contestants take more considerable sum of money. However, he got a head injury when he was on his way to buy the ticket due to a lathi-charge by police.

He wished to narrate this incident in front of Big B someday. This wish manifested his arrival in the 14th season of KBC. DC told him how Big B owed him Rs. 10. He then gave Dulichand Rs. 20 with added interest. The episode was quite fun, full of laughter’s and suspense. After playing till the 14th question, DC quit the same 15th question. It was worth Rs. 75 Lakh, but DC had all of his lifelines exhausted. He played pretty well and inspired many people with one single episode. It was immensely encouraging for everyone. At the age of 62, he decided to pursue his dreams and went ahead with this decision without thinking twice for a second.
