Kirti Kolwankar is a Bollywood costume designer born in Chiplun, a cultural background village of Maharashtra. She completed her education in fashion technology form J. D. Institute, Mumbai. Kirti has worked as a costume designer for many movies in 2018, Such as MUKKABAZ, BADHAI HO, YAMALA PAGLA DEWAANA PHIR SAY.
She is also associated with Ayushman, Kriti starrer film BAREILY KI BARFI. In her inspiring journey from costume assistant to costume designer, she worked with many famous personalities. She started her career as an assistant to Farzine Khambatta. Also, she worked with Hollywood designer Lorraine Kinman as an Assistant for Cheetah Girls (Indian Crew). In 2013, she started her job at Phantom (2013-14).
She is currently working with B.R film, as a wardrobe assistant, and with Jar pictures as a costume designer from 2014. Kirti designs costume for several advertisement companies with her team, or along with other designers. Her passion for her work made her stay with industry.
