Pragati Deshmukh is a creative producer in the Indian entertainment industry. She lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She is a young, smart new generation woman with a strong understanding of the business of content creation. She is a content leader, creator, and storyteller with experience of 17+ years in the industry in creating OTT, TV, and film content.
She knows about the ever-changing viewer demands for gripping and exciting content, and her excellent written and verbal communication skills enable her to guide both in Hindi and English. She firmly believes in the hunger for constant learning and sharing.
She completed her schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya and, for further studies, she went to SNDT Women’s University from 2002–2005. She has worked as an associate executive producer at The Walt Disney Company, as a project lead at Discovery Communications, and as a creative producer at BBC Studios. She is currently the head of Zee-5. She gained popularity amongst the audience with the 2019 web series Out of Love.
