Rajasmita Kar is an Indian Dancer known for winning Dance India Dance(DID) a dancing reality show telecasted on Zee TV. Rajasmita was born on January 26, 1991, in Rourkela, Odisha, India. Her interest in dancing developed when she was just eight years old. Trained under Mr. Aman, her dance master she first appeared in the reality show Dhoom Machale on Tarang TV and reached up to the finals.
She auditioned for Dance India Dance(DID) and got selected from the thousands from the eastern zone in Kolkata and then made among top 100 dancers. After winning DID, she was also honored by the Chief Minister of Odisha who presented her with a house and cheque of 3 lakh. Rajasmita has been away from the limelight after her in DID win and has opened her dance academy in Odisha.
