Aarun Nagar is one of the few filmmakers who can direct, act, write, edit, and produce. With just two films old as a director, he is already winning big in the cinema industry with several awards and accolades. Aarun Nagar was born on the 12th of August 1982 in a village called Dujana in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his graduation from Delhi University. His interest and admiration for movies made his move to Mumbai and tried his luck in films.

Aarun started his career in the year 2003 as a television actor in Sadhana Channel. He essayed the title character of god Sai Baba in the show, and the audience highly appreciated his acting. He next appeared in the Star Plus show Kkavyanjali in the prominent role of Arun. Along with acting, he took up the position of an assistant director also for the first time. In 2009, he acted and assisted in the show Maayka, aired in Zee TV and Vaseeyat in Doordarshan.

He appeared as a Police Inspector in Maayka and the character Salim in Vaseeyat. In 2010, he made his presence in the show Kaali- Ek Agnipariksha as a truck owner and the supernatural show Seven as a boatman. He also appeared in the role of Arun in Star One show Dhoondh Legi Manzil Humein in the same year. He also starred as an army officer in Sony TV’s show Kismat. Meanwhile, Aarun grabbed his debut in the film industry in 2010.

He made his debut appearance in the International movie Semshook. He played the role of the Gurjar boy in the film, which about a man’s journey to the Himalayas. Aarun Nagar next appeared in the Hindi movie Children of War in a prominent role. He also worked as a casting director for the film. In 2015, Aarun starred in the film Uvaa as the Police Inspector Prithvi Singh. Besides acting in the picture, he also took up several other positions as the first assistant director, casting director, and line producer.

Later, in 2016, he acted in the social drama Bhouri which spoke about the life of women in rural areas. He portrayed the role of Sirsa in the movie and also worked as the first assistant director. With the experience Aarun gained in his career of over ten years, he wrote and directed his first independent feature film Gurjar Aandolan in 2014. The movie, produced under his banner Kirti Motion Pictures, talks about the rights of the Gurjar community people. Aarun Nagar played an important role in the feature film. He also took care of the music composition and editing of the film.

Upon release, the movie was critically acclaimed and received mostly positive reviews. After a gap of five years, he returned as a director with the action movie Risknamaa. He handled the editing, screenplay, and direction units of the film and played a prominent role in the movie. The film got released in 2019 and declared as a commercial hit. It was as well as acclaimed by the critics for its screenplay and direction. Aarun Nagar made use of every chance that came in his life in the best way. Instead of sticking to one profession, he explored all departments in filmmaking, and today he can master any role with perfection.
