Amit Vats is an Indian Director in the film industry. He is an optimistic, third world director who wants to make movies in all the genres instead of typecasting one and highlighting the other. He is famous for his light weighted movies which always has a message in it. In an interview, he said that ‘Every film is a dream project for me, no matter it consists of a big star cast or totally freshers. It’s the duty of the director to get the emotions out of the actor.’ He also treated all his actors as characters to the story rather than mere objects which need polishing and movement.
He debuted with his first movie titled Loan’ly, it was a short film and puja vats directed it. He was the writer for the movie. The film was on a very genuine and everyday topic of loan where a family forgot the meaning of life in their struggles to pay back the money.
