Ashok Tyagi serves as a director and assistant director in Hindi film industry. He is well known since 1985 for his work Surkhiyaan (The Headlines) as he was the writer and director of the title. After Surkhiyaan he also directed another movie like ‘Andher Gardi’ in 1990, ‘Return of jewel thief’ in 1996, ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’ in 2002, ‘It’s rocking: Dard-E-Disco’ in 2012 and recently ‘ Riyasat Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ and ‘Kaash Tumse Mohabbat Na Hoti’ in 2014. Ashok Tyagi also worked as a chief assistant director in movies titled as ‘Zakhmi Dil’ in 1994, ‘Shastra’ in 1996 and ‘Tirchhi Topiwale’ in 1998. Moreover, before Surkhiyaan (The Headlines) in 1985, he also did the documentary work for the movie name ‘Dhrupad’ in 1983 and editing work for ‘ Tarang Tarang is information and entertainment based show >> Read More... ’ in 1984.

Apart from directing, editing and writing the movies, Ashok Tyagi has acted in them as well. He played the role of the actor for the first time in the movie named ‘Teenmoti’ in 1995 and then in ‘Pyar Ki Umang’ in 1998. Ashok Tyagi has done good works in past but, since there is no any hits and any current movie directed or edited by him, he is not very famous and thus there aren’t many details about him and his personal life. But if we consider his old works like Surkhiyaan, it can be surely said that he is a benign director with great abilities and thoughts and thus hope for something great from him for the future of Bollywood.
