Before directing ‘Desi Magic’, he was associated with advertising and other kinds of filmmaking for about two decades. He also owns a production house named Morse Code Films. It is believed that he had produced and directed more than 600 television commercials and audio-visuals.

He was connected with P.C. Jewellers, Union Bank of India, Lloyd, Indian oil and other public and private sector companies for video ad campaigns. For an advertisement campaign, he has even directed Amitabh Bachchan.

He feels that ad campaigning is necessary for tourist awareness. After ‘Desi Magic’, he is yet to finalize two pending projects which he wants to shoot in Northeast region of India.
