Nishant was born on 22nd July 1989 in Sitamarhi near Bihar. He did his schooling from Jawahar Navoday Vidyalaya, which is a boarding school. At his young age, he enacted his first play "Modern Ramayana."He is a Graduate in Hindi literature & Dramatics from Delhi University.
He also did a Diploma in acting from Shri ram center for performing arts. After doing professional theater with many well-known theater groups & personalities, he shifted to Mumbai. He did his post- graduation in acting from the academy of theater arts Mumbai University.
His first break was in a newspaper Navbharat times. Since then, he has been working for Theater, TV, and Web. He also acted in many films ,namely “Uri- the surgical strike,”Gumrah- end of innocence.”- a TV series,” love by chance,” etc. He also directed “Stayfree,” a short video.
