Pritish Chakraborty

Pritish Chakraborty is an Indian Film Director, Entrepreneur, Producer, Writer, Singer, Actor and Lyricist. He made his Bollywood debut as Writer-Director with the Hindi movie, named Chal Pichchur Banate Hain in 2012. He is the CEO, MD, of the Mumbai-based Ascent Group Of Companies which comprises of the Wealth Management LLP, Ascent Finance, Ascent Films Private Limited, and the Ascent Food and Beverage LLP. He was a movie buff from his Teens; he made up his discussion at the young age of 16 that after finishing off his studies he will precede a full-fledged profession in filmdom.

Equipped with his training, passion, and knowledge about movies, he began off as an Assistant Director in the Hindi cinema and television industry Bollywood. With practice and time, he began writing for TV and Movies and appeared as a Writer and Director, in the 2012 movie Chal Pichchur Banate Hain. Pritish's next as a Producer-Director, Writer and Actor is the Mangal Ho set of films, the original of which will have its theatre release in 2016. Chal Pichchur Banate Hain was a family comic drama movie.

The movie was a delightful sarcastic take on the Hindi film business and was recognised for its new and cinematic content. Filming of the film took place principally in Goa and the in Mumbai. Made on a short budget, the film explores problems like excessive copy paste in the film fraternity, the lack of creativity in ideas, the current star system adjacent to the unending love of a true cinema lover in a funny but a practical way through the cleverly portrayed adventure of a young MBA who resigns everything and goes against everybody in order to continue his goal of becoming a filmmaker.
