Sarthak is an award-winning director in the film industry. He is one of the directors, who delivered a beautiful cinema to the audience. He is an engineer, MBA in finance from SIBM Pune. He was interested in telling stories, so he followed his dream to make films. Immediately after completing his degree, he came back to Mumbai to join SEBI, a government financial institution. While working there, he came across the music director Pritam, who took the initiative to mold his mind to the creative side. Along with technology, movies also need to change. So he took this initiative and started making films as per the technology. He was the man behind the evolution to change. One such film was “The great Indian butterfly.”
He also has a contribution to television. He launched many television shows like “

,” Uttran,” "Adalat” etc. All the shows or a movie he does has a reason behind it. He also writes scripts which he hopes to transform it into reels. His movies are very Indian but at the same time, they have universally effective topical to work even in foreign markets. He is awarded the ‘Sundance Mahindra Global Filmmaker Award, which is usually given to four Global Film Directors with World-Cinema sensibilities.
