Yogesh Vats

Yogesh Vats is an Indian filmmaker, writer, and producer. He was born in Rewari, a district of Haryana, and lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He completed his high school at Yaduvanshi Shiksha Niketan, Mahendergarh. Then, he studied film direction at the State Institute of Film and Television (SIFT), Rohtak, in 2014 and at the State University of Performing and Visual Arts in 2016. He debuted in the industry with the short film "Bare Feet Impressions." It is produced by the Government Film and Television Institute (SIFT). He directed the short film in 2016 as his final year project submission, and it brought him fame and stardom. The short film has been screened in many national and international film festivals.

The short film that highlighted social evils was the opening film in Russia's Kinoprobha Film Fest and won the Best Film Award at the Film Festival of Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai. He debuted in the Indian film industry with the movie Hawayein, a Hindi travel fiction, in 2024. He directed the movie The Lost Feather, which will be released in 2025, and the web series Gadera, which will be released in 2024. He is the writer and producer of both of them. He also acted in the movie Ajay Wardhan in 2022 as a supporting role. In 2021, he established the production company "Wild Auteur Pictures". It is known for TV commercials and films that use its unique style and creative storytelling. His films are both fun and serious and address societal issues that have a huge impact on the Indian film industry.
