Pawan Parshuram Khade

Pawan Parshuram Khade is an Indian Filmmaker, Director, Photographer, Cinematographer, and Writer based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was born on April 8, 1989. He did his schooling at Sharadashram Vidyamandir and then pursued a Bachelor’s in Mass Media and Advertisement from Lala Lajpatrai Institute, Mumbai, Maharashtra. When he was in college, he was interested in sports and used to play cricket on his college grounds.

Later, he started selling sim cards and worked at food courts and cyber cafes for computer data entry. After completing Mass Communications, he searched for various jobs, visited film sets and edit studios, and explored different aspects of filmmaking.  This diverse experience helped him choose a diverse profession of Writer, Creative Producer, Steadicam Assistant, and Post-Producer. Now, Pawan also documents moments on his work sets to capture ‘Behind the Scenes’ photographs and has a long experience working with many great platforms, such as Discovery, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney Plus Hotstar.

Pawan started working in 2012 as an assistant director for a Star Plus Reality Show, ‘Nach Baliye Season 5’ (Web Content). Then in 2013, he worked as a Steadicam Assistant for Moving Head Productions in a Zee TV reality show, Dance India Dance Supermoms (Auditions). In the same year, he worked for Ryna Entertainment Pvt. Ltd as an Associate Script Writer for a project called ‘What Wear How’ (Web Series). In June 2014, he shot a Documentary with Emotion Pictures called ‘Ek the Kunwar- A Tribute to the King.’

In August 2014, he worked as an Assistant Director at Creative Sailor Productions for Music Video called Anjaana Main Chala. Then, he got engaged with Fox India and worked in the production of ‘Twist of Taste’ (Season 04). In January 2015, Pawan directed a couple of commercial advertisements for Reliance Digital, such as the Right to Education, Right to Equality, and Right to Religion.

From April 2015 to October 2015, Pawan worked with Black and Yellow company as a post-producer and producer of a number of shows for various channels, such as Jazz It up (NDTV Prime), M bole toh (Hotstar), The Big Bangistan Theory (Hotstar), Makeover with Sonam Kapoor Sonam Kapoor, Daughter of Anil Kapoor and model Su >> Read More... (Bindass), Write India Initiative (Times of India), and Mc Dowell’s No.1 Yaari Not Out. Next year, he tried his hand at script writing with Storycode Media LLP and worked on projects, such as Educational Short Films, Commercial Digital Advertisements, Birth of an Olympian (Stories of 2016 Rio Olympic Qualifiers from India), etc. As a Photographer, he worked with Lintas Media Group and covered the Ganesh Festival.
